Leigh and Velizar’s Wedding at By Grace Alone

Wow, what a fun night…

Leigh and Velizar had a really cool wedding, that they organised on their own.

The reception, held at By Grace Alone, was awesome. The venue has a medieval theme, with suites of armour, a moat and the whole castle effect. The power even went out for part of the evening, so we sat in candle light, experiencing the true personality of the venue.

We were seated as if we were at a royal banquet. The food, which was aplenty was really good. My favourite was the pumpkin fritters with caramel sauce, which i had more than enough helpings of.

The meal was rounded up with some interesting berry and chocolate mouse pudding.

The dancing then began, with young and old enjoying the some classics.

Leigh and Velizar’s Bachelor and Bachelorette’s

With the wedding drawing closer, Leigh and Velizar had their Bachelor and Bachelorette parties tonight…

The Girls all went to Far Hills Hotel, for a night of nails and dressing up, while the guys had a get together at the Prezens’ house with lots of beer.

I dropped Amelia off at Far Hills Hotel at about 16:00. I had work to do so, I stayed at the office till about 19:00 then carried on with some work at home.

The two parties met up at Cactus and I joined up soon after.

Amelia and I decided to have the legendary Cactus Pizza we always have there with; chicken, avo, garlic and feta.

Leigh-Ann was so funny, she was dressed up with a shirt saying bride, a white fluffy boa and a tiara. She must have had a lot to drink cause she had this glazed look in her eyes and was being so funny. She stole a few pieces of avo off our pizza, it was totally hilarious.

I am sure that they are all going to have funny stories to tell us at the wedding, not to mention some serious hangovers tomorrow.

Kelly’s Birthday at Picasso’s

Meryl organised a Birthday Bash for Kelly, and Amelia took the opportunity to take a break from studying.

We met up with the crowd at Picasso’s. The ladies and one of the guys did cocktails while the rest of the guys enjoyed a round of Heineken.

While enjoying our beer, we came up with the idea of having a group wedding.

We all figured, the girls all want to have elaborate event’s and we would prefer to have a simple signing of papers and save the bucks for a flatscreen.

So we thought, let’s give the girls what they want and have one huge wedding splitting the cost and inviting the friends we have in common, needless to say the girls didn’t like that idea…

We thus had another round of Heineken…
