Transformers

With the release of, Transformers – Revenge of the Fallen, I wanted to watch the first one, before watching the sequel.

The action doesn’t seem to stop from the moment the movie starts. The movie is exciting and fun and definitely worth seeing if you haven’t seen it yet.

It is in a sense a bit thought provoking and lets one wonder a bit about the singularity, and the influence technology will have on our existence in the future.

I can’t wait to watch the new one.

Max Payne

Looking at the cover of Max Payne or watching the trailer for that matter, one gets the impression of being taken on a thrilling, super natural ride, with demons, monsters and some real mean stuff.

I’m almost sorry to say that Max Payne was not exactly what we had expected. The movie had the odd surprising twist and was not incisively boring either, but it wasn’t all the trailer had made it out to be.

After the movie starts, it feels as if everything happens so quickly and then it is over. When watching it for the second time, the movie seemed to start and end, which is not really the way I like it, I prefer to feel totally lost while watching a movie and lose all track of time and sometimes reality.

Some of the scenes are a bit stupid and Max doesn’t exactly lead by example. Seriously when you live is such a dodgy area, you don’t let people walk home on their own, especially if they’re high and you’re a cop.

I think the obvious and ridiculous stupidity of some of the scenes echoes the realness of what we are all subject to at some time or another, when faced with people who can’t think for themselves.

The movie has got some good action and exciting scenes and you could easily find yourself, wanting to scream kill or shoot.

If you’re battling to choose what movie to rent and it is in, take it.

X-Men Origins | Wolverine

Whether you’re an X-Men fan or not, this movie will turn you into a follower. There’s no need to watch any of the previous movies in the series, as this one gives you a good background on, as aptly put in the name, the “Origins” of The X-Men.

We’d highly recommend that you watch X-Men Origins on the big screen, to get the most out of this action packed, and exciting film where Hugh Jackman, is finally not the bad guy.

Avoid buying pop corn, as you’ll probably forget to eat it.

Angels and Demons

Amelia and I both enjoyed Da Vinci Code and were looking forward to Angels and Demons the moment we knew it was coming out.

The film was great, it had us riveted to our seats and was full of twists. This was definitely not predictable or boring.

The film was well researched and touched on some really interesting subject matter.

If you get a chance we’d highly suggest that you watch this one on the big screen. If you haven’t seen Da Vinci Code yet, we would recommend watching it first.
