Decided to go for a cycle while Amelia was at work. I took a relaxed 51min ride to cover 13.5 km…

Went past the dam, and had a look at the old “bomb hole” or should i say what is left of it, had some good times there, on the ramps and at the drop off, back in the day… When the dam was still Hill Billy Country…

Although the trees are gone, the roads are over grown and very rough, i was shaking like crazy. Going down the hill was quite fun, but coming up took a little bit more energy than i had expected, i’m definitely not as fit as i used to be. I guess my boep should be an indicator of the obvious.

Amelia, suggested going for a walk and i ride next to her, so i got my wheeler out and dusted it off.

Was cool taking the bike for a spin, haven’t had a ride in ages, some laaitjie, came past me throwing a wheely, so i was motivated to do the same… managed to do about 50m, my cornering is a little rusty, but was a blast…
